Biography
English baritone Jacob Phillips is currently a member of the ensemble of the Tiroler Landestheater where roles in 23/24 include SCHAUNARD La Bohème, CONTE Le Nozze di Figaro and LYSANDER The Fairy Queen. Next season he will be singing FORD Falstaff and the title role in Eugene Onegin at Tiroler Landestheater, and in the summer of 2024 Gianni Schicchi (title role) with Bregenzer Festspiele. Past projects have included MARULLO Rigoletto Opera Holland Park, MARCELLO La Bohème Hurn Court Opera, FIRST MATE Billy Budd Enescu International Festival, NICK SHADOW The Rake’s Progress (Trevor Pinnock, Frederic Wake-Walker), Gianni Schicchi (title role) and CONTE Royal Academy Opera CONTE and ZUNIGA Carmen Opera Holland Park.
